Description

We are looking for a substitute teacher to cover two classes of high school Biology for one of our teachers who is going to be on leave for the months of November and December.

  • Biology I A meets T/Th (8:50–10:10am) & Fri (8:50–9:25am)
  • Biology I B meets T/Th (10:15–11:35am) & Fri (9:30–10:05am)

St. Ambrose Academy is a 6–12 grade private Catholic classical academy located in Madison, Wisconsin with a rapidly growing student body and a vibrant Catholic community.

Aware that all truth has its origin and end in the person of Jesus Christ, our students study Catholic theology and college preparatory subjects through the teachings of the Magisterium and the primary works of civilization’s greatest thinkers. Offered regular access to the Sacraments and mentored by teachers who foster a deep love of Jesus Christ, students see and are led to imitate the virtues which joyfully compel a life lived in knowledge, love, and service of Christ and His Church.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree is required. Teaching experience is preferred, but training will be provided for the right applicant. The candidate must be a practicing Catholic, willing to make an Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium, whose life of faith serves as an example to our students and families.
