For the success of the New Building Campaign, on Monday, February 14 there will be an all-school pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help in Champion, WI to beg Our Lady’s intercession for our new building.
This is the site of the only approved Marian apparition in the United States. Mary appeared to Adele Brise in 1859 and told her, “Gather the children in this wild country and teach them what they should know for salvation. Teach them their catechism, how to sign themselves with the sign of the cross, and how to approach the Sacraments. That is what I wish you to do. Go and fear nothing. I will help you.”
This call from Our Lady had been of great importance to the St. Ambrose community, and we trust that Our Lady will give us her help in the building project.
We will depart at 8:00am sharp and return around 3:30pm. We would love for many parents, families, and friends of SAA to accompany us on this journey of faith. Please contact Miss Klinkhammer if you would be willing to chaperone or if your family would like to caravan with us.
