Music Man Dance Workshop

The Music Man is coming to St. Ambrose Academy!
Get your dancing shoes on and prepare for a toe-tappin,’ trombone-swingin’ good time!
Mrs. Heather Jones (choreographer) and Mrs. Angela Hineline (director) are hosting a dance workshop to help students get ready for St. Ambrose Academy’s Music Man (2023).
The workshop will be from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 20th, at the gym at
St. Mary’s in Pine Bluff. We will focus on musical theater dance fundamentals as well as teaching a few tricks. Participants will learn a short combination from the famous “76 Trombones,” and have chances to work on 2 other pieces of varying difficulty.
The workshop is open to St. Ambrose students, grades 7-12. Students should wear dance shoes (jazz or character) or closed toed tennis shoes. Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in (t-shirts and shorts are recommended).
