DESCRIPTION:Biblical Art and Technology\nA hands-on journey into the world of the Old Testament\nReady for an adventure of Biblical proportions? In this immersive workshop led by Geoffrey Ludvik\, students will step into the world of ancient Israel and experience daily life in Biblical times. Through hands-on activities\, they will explore the tools\, technology\, and culture of the Old Testament in a truly engaging and memorable way.\n\nWhat students will do:\n\nUse stone tools and explore early technology\nMake mudbricks and construct a small fort\nLearn ancient warfare techniques\, including sling and spear use\nCreate models of the Ark of the Covenant and other sacred objects\nVisit UW–Madison to explore geology\, archaeology\, and animal life connected to the Bible\n\n\nGrades 5–9 \n10:00 AM – 2:00 PM daily \n\nAugust 3-7\nSt. Ambrose Academy and UW–Madison\n$200 per student
