Through hands-on activities\, they will examine the arguments\, conflicts\, and decisions that shaped the founding of the nation.\n\nWhat students will do:\n\nPut the British soldiers of the Boston Massacre on trial\nPrint pro- and anti-Stamp Act pamphlets\nMap and analyze the 27 grievances in the Declaration of Independence\nParticipate in a “Should We Declare Independence?” debate\nCreate short-form videos (“Declaration Shorts”) explaining its key ideas\nVisit the Wisconsin State Capitol to explore republican government and liberty\n\nGrades 5–9\nJune 22-26\n10:00 AM – 2:00 PM daily\nSt. Ambrose Academy and the State Capitol\n$200 per student
