SUMMARY:Senior Sponsorship Training
DESCRIPTION:Sponsorship Program on August 25 and 26: \nHello families of rising seniors!\nAs you may have heard\, we are starting a new sponsorship program for next year\,\naimed to develop seniors as leaders in our school\, foster vertical\, multi-grade\ncommunity\, and allow them to serve the in-coming freshmen by means of mentoring\,\ndiscipling\, and welcoming them into the fold. \nHere is our Sponsorship mission statement for reference:\n“Our mission is to pair all senior students with incoming freshmen to create a supportive\nand faith-centered transition into high school. Through mentorship\, prayer\, service\, and\nshared experiences\, seniors will help the freshmen to navigate academic\, social\, and\nspiritual challenges while deepening the seniors’ own leadership and discipleship\, all in\nthe service of the common good.” \nWe require all seniors to attend a training seminar on Monday\, August 25 at St.\nAmbrose Academy from 11:00 AM until 2:30 PM. There\, our seniors will learn the\ngoals of mentoring\, choose sponsorship topics for the school year\, and prepare for\nmeeting their mentee on Tuesday\, August 26th for New Student Orientation Day\nfrom 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM. It will be fun; our seniors are pros when it comes to\nstudying\, socializing\, and guiding younger students. Please ensure your senior attends\nboth days to gain preparedness for the upcoming school year. \nIf you have any questions\, please email Mr. Roser or Mr. Kwas. Thank you for all you\ndo\, and God bless!
