St. Ambrose welcomes back Meg Matenaer as Academic Assistant. Meg first taught English and math at St. Ambrose many years ago. She is returning this year to supervise study halls. Witnessing teachers, students, and parents working together to achieve a profoundly Catholic education is a daily blessing in her life.
In her free time, Meg writes fiction that takes place in Madison. She enjoys researching downtown restaurants and iconic sites like the Capitol in her process of writing her novels.
Meg and her husband Paul, also a former St. Ambrose teacher, have six children–three current Guardians and three future Guardians. They enjoy spending time together outside, visiting family, and attending St. Ambrose sporting events.
