Tuition Assistance: Two Avenues of Support

Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP)

St. Ambrose Academy began participating in this program during the 2024-2025 school year. Approximately 44% of students at St. Ambrose Academy receive WPCP funding, which covers the full cost of tuition for families who win seats in the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) lottery.

To apply for a free state-funded WPCP tuition voucher: See WPCP for more information.

WPCP application period: February 2 – April 16, 2026

Benefactor-Sponsored Tuition Assistance

A family does not need to be in poverty to qualify for tuition assistance. Many factors are considered in determining qualifications for tuition assistance, including number of children enrolled, other education costs, and special circumstances. Approximately 13% of the student population receives benefactor-sponsored tuition assistance. The average financial assistance award is $4,000 per student per year.
