Biblical Art and Technology A hands-on journey into the world of the Old Testament
Ready for an adventure of Biblical proportions? In this immersive workshop led by Geoffrey Ludvik, students will step into the world of ancient Israel and experience daily life in Biblical times. Through hands-on activities, they will explore the tools, technology, and culture of the Old Testament in a truly engaging and memorable way.
What students will do:
Use stone tools and explore early technology
Make mudbricks and construct a small fort
Learn ancient warfare techniques, including sling and spear use
Create models of the Ark of the Covenant and other sacred objects
Visit UW–Madison to explore geology, archaeology, and animal life connected to the Bible
