You’re Invited: New Alumni-Only Event
New building, new traditions! St. Ambrose Academy warmly invites alumni to the inaugural Starry Night Soiree, a mid-winter gathering planned for the Feast of the Holy Name of Jesus, January 3, in honor of the new home of the Academy!
Dr. John Joy (our outstanding Dean of Faculty/Religion teacher for those who don’t know him) was inspired by a similar event as a way to mix some fun, prayer, and encouragement in the intellectual life for our alumni.
Our hope is that this becomes a special new tradition in this beautiful new space which we now call home. And even if you did not take classes and walk these halls as a student, this is still very much your home and we hope you’ll enjoy spending time here.
Event Details
The evening will begin at 5:00 PM with Holy Mass in the Holy Name Oratory, bringing us together in prayer as we start a new year. Following Mass, enjoy a delicious dinner catered by Banzo while reconnecting with old friends and classmates and meeting other alumni.
During dinner, alumni and their guests will enjoy a simple program featuring a talk by Dr. Connie Nielsen, promoting the intellectual life and carrying the legacy of St. Ambrose Academy into the world. The night will conclude with swing dancing and conversation beneath the figurative starry sky. Join us!
