Junior high students are invited to play board, card, and yard games after school. Families are invited to watch the Powderpuff tournament, in which girls from each senior high grade compete in a flag football tournament against each other.

Student athletes can wear their jersey tops to school. Must wear a tshirt under sleeveless jerseys and can only wear your current athletic jersey tops (not anyone else’s or past jerseys). Other accepted shirts on this day:

Fall Service Day | October 19Mark your calendars for Fall Service Day on Mon., Oct. 19! We’ll need all the volunteer help we can get, so if you are able to chaperone a group of students on that day, please sign up using the SignUp Genius. It’s super helpful if you can let us know if you can drive a group, and if so, how many seats you have open to students. Any questions can be directed to Mrs. McKearn. Additionally, if you know of any people or organizations who could use our students’ help on Service Day, please email Mrs. McKearn. We are always looking for more people in the community to serve. |

These are excellent events to invite friends who are considering sending their children to St. Ambrose Academy in the future – whether it’s next year, or beyond. The Homecoming Dance is open to all senior high students at SAA. See Homecoming 2026 Information and Forms below for more information including behavior and dress expectations, guest policy, and permission slips.
Tickets will available for purchase during lunch beginning Wednesday, September 16.
Permission slips must be turned in by Friday, September 25. Permission slips will not be accepted at the door.
Tickets are $20 per student, with scholarships available for those with financial hardship. Please contact the school office by email or calling 608-827-5863 for more information about scholarships. Please pay for tickets by cash or check (checks written out to St. Ambrose Academy with “Homecoming” in the memo line).
