Graduation Ceremony

Graduation Day, Sunday, May 25th, 2025

12:00pm

  • Seniors are to meet Mrs. Blahnik at SAA GYM by 12:00 noon. 

 

1:00pm Mass 

  • Parents and families are to arrive at the church starting at 12:30pm at the Holy Name Heights main entrance.
  • This Mass fulfills your weekly obligation.

 

2:00pm Graduation Ceremony – SAA Commons

  • After Mass, graduates will leave Mass first and go to the SAA Gym to prepare for graduation
  • Once the graduates have left, families can then follow to exit HNH and go to our SAA northeast side entrance to access the SAA Commons.
  • The families will be greeted by Mrs. Hineline and handed a program.
  • Families can then head into SAA Commons and Mrs. Blahnik will usher your family to your seat which is assigned seating by the last name on the chairs.
  • The ceremony will not be livestream.

 

After the graduation, cake, lemonade, and water will be served. Photos of the graduates will be taken by the designated photographer in the North Courtyard, weather permitting. Only graduates, staff, and the photographer will be allowed access to the courtyard via the main hallway door.

Graduation Practice

*** Graduation Practice, Friday, May 23, 10:00am – 702 S High Point Road Suite #209 ***

Graduating Seniors are to meet Mrs. Blahnik at St. Ambrose Academy front desk for practice.

Students who are giving a speech should be prepared to give the speech to Dr. Skemp after the practice. Other students do not have to bring anything.

Practice will last about an hour.

Students – Please bring your cap and gown, cords, medals, and tassels to be stored in the gym for graduation. 

 

Mr. Schmiesing, Dr. Skemp and Mr. Scudder will be working with the graduates.

Parking for the event – 4 rows closest to SAA entrance on front side of the building, then rows on far side of building.
