“Varsity girls and JV girls will switch start times at Horicon. Varsity will play first at 11:00am and JV will start after (approximately 12:30pm).
11:00am – Varsity girls vs. Horicon in the HS Gym
11:00am – St. Ambrose JV Boys vs. Horicon in the Elementary Gym
12:30pm – JV girls vs. Horicon in the Elementary Gym
12:30pm – St. Ambrose Varsity Boys vs. Horicon in the HS Gym”

“Saturday, 12/2 Wayland is repairing their fieldhouse. The JV and Varsity game will be played at Wayland’s second gym. A map of Wayland’s campus is attached.”

“Monday, 11/27 JV game vs Argyle-Pecatonica is cancelled. Instead, JV will practice Monday from 4:45-:615 (meet in ALCS lobby). Monday’s Varsity game vs. Argyle-Pecatonica is moved up to 7 pm. Varsity should have shoes on/be ready to go at 6:30 pm.”

Scrimmage Information
Participating Teams: ALCS, Dodgeland and Oakfield
Level: Varsity and JV
Date/Location: Friday, November 10, 2023 – Dodgeland High School/Middle School Gyms
Time: 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Scrimmage will begin at 4:40 p.m.)
Cost: total cost $175 per school (to help with official’s fees)

Other Information: Dodgeland will provide all warm up balls. No admission charged and no concessions will
be available.
Format: Each Varsity and JV team will play 2 scrimmages. Two “halves” of a 15-minute running clock. No
stopping the clock and no free-throws shot. Then we will put up 4 minutes at the end of that time and
play it like a real game. We will stop the clock and shoot 1 free throw on a foul during that time.
Several minutes will also be provided between “halves” for bathroom and water breaks.
Locker Rooms: Dodgeland will occupy the high school girls locker room, Oakfield will occupy the visitor locker
room and ALCS/SA will occupy the middle school girls locker room. Please bring along locks to secure your
belongings or bring your team bags out into the gym when your athletes are done changing.
4:30 – 4:40 Warm ups for Dodgeland and Oakfield
4:40 – 5:20 Dodgeland – Oakfield Scrimmage (Varsity in HS gym & JV in MS gym)
5:20 – 5:30 Warm-ups for ALCS/SA (optional for Oakfield)
5:30 – 6:10 ALCS/SA – Oakfield Scrimmage (Varsity in HS gym & JV in MS gym)
6:10 – 6:20 Warm-ups for Dodgeland Varsity (optional ALCS/SA)
6:20 – 7:00 Dodgeland – ALCS/SA Scrimmage (Varsity in HS gym & JV in MS gym)

“Unfortunately, University Lake has cancelled our game on Friday (2/16). I will add the varsity practice time to the TeamSnap calendar when I have it.”

“Thursday, 11/30 JV game added at Monona Grove High School at 5:45 pm. Varsity plays at Madison Country Day at 5:45 pm. Both teams should have shoes on/be ready to go at 5:15 pm. Reminder that no ALCS vans provided to either location due to proximity.”
We will be doing our end of the season party this Sunday (5th of November) from 5-7 at Meadowbrook Neighborhood Center (801 Pleasant Valley Parkway, Waunakee WI).
This is for us all to gather together to be able to socialize with each other and celebrate the great season we had. Parents, family, and players of all teams are invited. It is a potluck so if you’d like to pitch in for drinks, food, etc let me and/or Athena Lyons know. Hope to see all of you there! Any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Game Information: Friday, October 27, 2023 at 7:00pm at Horace Mann HS Stadium (1115 Thurke Ave., North Fond du Lac, WI)
High School Basketball is right around the corner! Important items you need to know:
This meeting is mandatory for all athletes and parents for ALCS sponsored sports, so if you cannot make it, let Coach Thies or myself (Mrs. Koon) know.
Please bring all Required Paperwork – (https://www.alcs.us/athletics/participation-forms-info.cfm) to the meeting. We will have extra forms at the meeting if needed.
The required forms for all high school athletes are:
· Athletic Participation Contract (sign and return for sport)
· Physical form (must be signed by a doctor every other year starting with their freshmen year) The physical must be dated after April 1, 2022 to be valid. (If you already turned your physical in for a fall sport, you do not need to complete this again.)
· Alternate Year Physical Form (signed by parent if you have a current physical on or after April 1, 2022) Physicals are good for 2 years if signed after April 1, 2022. (If you played a fall sport, you do not need to complete this form again.)
· WIAA Eligibility Information Bulletin for 2023-24 (sign and return) (If you played a fall sport, you do not need to complete this form again.)
· High School Concussion Information-Student (must read) (If you played a fall sport, you do not need to complete this form again.)
· Concussion & Sudden Cardiac Arrest Information (must read)
· Parent & Athlete Concussion & Sudden Cardiac Arrest Agreement (sign and return)
After the Athletic Director meeting ends at approximately 7:00 pm, Girls and Boys Basketball will break into their respective groups.
Girls basketball will meet in the room 118 with their coaches.
This meeting is only for high school basketball players.

“We DO NOT have a game on 10/17. It is a playoff to qualify to enter the tournament for the lowest seeded teams, which is not us. So for us we have practice on 10/17. It is on the schedule in case we had to play in this playoff qualifying game. Our game as shared before is against Cedar Grove Belgium at Cedar Grove Belgium High School. Kickoff is at 7pm. This will be our regional semi final. If we win this game, we will play on Saturday against the winner of Oostburg Vs. Lomira or Wayland Academy. Lomira and Wayland Academy will be playing tomorrow to qualify for the semi final Thursday against Oostburg. If Oostburg loses their semi final, we will host the final on Saturday at a time and location TBD. We will be looking to host at a HS stadium nearby in Madison and wait for WIAA to share times we can play the final on Saturday. If Oostburg wins, we will be playing Oostburg at Oostburg High School. This is assuming we win our game against Cedar Grove. If we lose against Cedar Grove on Thursday, our season will be over. Hope this all makes sense. To summarize, Thursday against Cedar Grove, TBD opponent, location, and time for the final on Saturday.”
