David R. J. Stiennon, Esq.

Secretary

“Faith is shared by living witnesses. Those students who encounter Christ are going to take the faith into the world.”

Board secretary David Stiennon has been with St. Ambrose since its first year. Seeing the graduates who bring their faith in Christ into the world has been a tremendous joy for David, who also served for several years as the president of St. Ambrose.

David firmly believes that without authentically Catholic education, faith will die in communities. As such, he’s been happy to put his natural determination to work over the years in order to grow the school, a mission that, in the early days, he felt was too important to fail. He sees offering young people a Catholic education as a critical component in the Church’s apostolate in spreading the gospel.

David is a patent attorney and partner in the Madison law firm of Stiennon & Stiennon. He is president of the Technical Club of Madison and president of the board of Our Lady of Hope Clinic. He holds a law degree and bachelor’s of science in engineering mechanics from UW-Madison.
