Catholic Schools Week (1/27-1/31)

Activities:
Class Competition: Earn points for your class by participating in the themes, bringing in money for penny wars, and participating in games on Game Day! A prize will be awarded to the winning class.

Penny Wars: Earn points for your class and take points away from other classes! Coin and money point values will be posted on the bulletin boards.

Theme Days: Dress up according to the day and your class’s chosentheme. Costumes and outfits will be judged and the best costumes will earn points for the winning class.

Game Day: Classes will compete against each other in games which will earn points.

Rules for costumes and outfits:
Themes should be reported to Mr. Lynch through your class representative (Senior High) or Homeroom teachers (Junior High). If you choose not to participate in the theme, then you must still dress in uniform.

All outfits must comply with the non-uniform dress guidelines (Student Handbook, p. 49).

Costumes must be worn all day. Exception: If you have large props or accessories which may be disruptive to the classroom environment (for example, helmets and headpieces), they can be taken off and not worn during class.

Themes:
Monday: Music Monday
Each class picks a genre of music to dress up as.

Tuesday: Teacher Tuesday
Each class picks a teacher to dress up as. One teacher for your class, or the boys can dress up as a male teacher, and the girls dress up as a female teacher.

Wednesday: Movie/TV Shows Wednesday
Each class picks a movie or TV show to dress up as.

Thursday: Formal (Dress Up) Thursday
Dress professionally in formal attire!

Friday: Class Color Day
Each class picks a color. Wear sweatpants and athletic shoes for the games!

Classes will be photographed together at lunch time, starting with 6th grade.
