Year-End Field Day & House Ceremony
Our year-end Field Day & House Ceremony is coming up! The day will begin in homeroom and
Mass as normal. We will then celebrate our athletes who will be playing in college at a college
signing ceremony before enjoying a House Competition, hot lunch, and fun activities including a
spike ball tournament, capture the flag, softball, and a cornhole tournament! We’ll finish the day
with a House Ceremony and the Chaplet before being dismissed at the normal time.
Dress Code: a St. Ambrose-specific spirit wear shirt (not a co-op shirt), athletic pants or shorts
that are not tight-fitting and that meet the dress code standard length requirement of going past
the fingertips while standing, and closed-toed sneakers (no crocs, sandals, etc.).
What To Bring: Water bottle, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, and a tote bag/backpack/crate for
bringing home personal items in lockers.
Do you have the following we could borrow? If you do, please bring them on Wednesday,
May 21 either to school or to the Parent Update Meeting that evening:
● Cornhole boards and bags
● Spike ball nets and balls
● Large water cooler jugs
All items should be labeled with your family name and can be picked up/taken home by your
student after Field Day on May 22.
Here’s to another fun celebration as a community before the summer begins – and as we say
goodbye to our seniors!!
Given recent requests about service hours, we’ve also added a few roles for parent volunteers to assist faculty with supervision of the very fun Field Day activities that will happen throughout our campus.
Parents are invited to sign up for one or both shifts and enjoy the day’s events as we celebrate another fantastic year! |
