Hello everyone, I want to share some details with you regarding this weeks overnight trip to La Crosse. Scott or Coaches chime in with edits as need be.
Vehicles: 2 school vans driven by Mr. Schmiesing and Coach Duffek, James Eisele van and Coach Z’s Pilot
We will depart from Holy Name around 2:15pm on Thursday Jan. 16th arriving at the Raddison Hotel La Crosse (200 Harbour View Plaza 54601) by 4:15. We will settle in have a a snack and then head to practice at La Crosse Aquinas M.S. around 5:30. After practice (approximately 7:30pm) we will head back to the Hotel and have some pizza, let the boys relax and hang out untill tbd, No later than 11:00pm. Then the boys will need to be in their own room at 11 & lights out 11:30. Obviously, any player that wants to retire earlier, feel free to do so!!
Wake up call at 9am for breakfast, menu and location for breakfast tbd at this time. If we can eat there on sight that would be great and if we can make our own that would be greater!!:)
At 9:30 we will load up and head to Our Lady of Quadalupe. Parents are welcome to join us. We will be there approximately until 11:15. We will then head back to the hotel and check out and head over to the arena around noon, which is right next to the hotel. Game time is 1pm. After the game, grab some lunch and then we will then head back to Madison arriving approximately 5pm.
Things your son needs to bring:
Both sets of uniforms, shoes, socks, warm up top and bottoms, travel jacket,
Practice gear, any medicines they need, swim suit and overall gear to travel in, hang out in and wear to the arena.
What do we need from parents:
Snacks: bananas, protein bars, gatorade, water. What else?? I am going to check what the breakfast facilty looks like. We will pay for pizza on Thursday night, breakast and lunch on Friday.
I am expecrting that everyone V & JV players will go with us, I have sent a rooming list to the hotel. Coaches will supervise the boys the whole trip, parents can have some fun!!:)
