Nathan Clark

Latin

“I support Catholic education because our world desires the truth but does not know it. The restlessness of our souls, the same restlessness that St. Augustine felt, is satisfied with an education grounded in the truth, an education that is aimed at leading us not just to knowledge but to the source of knowledge Himself.”

Nathan Clark joins the St. Ambrose Academy team this year as a new Latin faculty member. Nathan was born in Orange County, California, and attended St. Michael’s Preparatory School, founded by the Norbertine Fathers of St. Michael’s Abbey. He graduated from Wyoming Catholic College in May 2026 with a B.A. in Liberal Arts, where he participated in the college’s extensive Latin immersion program. Nathan is excited to bring his love of Latin and the classical tradition to St. Ambrose Academy.

Outside the classroom, Nathan enjoys long-distance running, hiking, and playing the piano. He has a particular interest in religious orders and their history and fondly remembers visiting St. Michael’s Abbey and joining the community for the Liturgy of the Hours. Nathan is drawn to St. Ambrose because of its commitment to pursuing both knowledge and charity within a Catholic community.

Welcome, Nathan!
