Rhea Dricken

Dean of Students; Religion and Philosophy

“There is nothing more that I desire to share with young people than the bold and personal love of God in Jesus Christ, and to encourage each young person to take ownership of the gift of their lives and to accept the greatness that God has called them to. “

Welcome, Ms. Rhea Dricken!

Rhea Dricken joins the St. Ambrose Academy staff with a passion for faith, formation, and fostering joy in young people. A native of Kewaskum, WI, Rhea earned her bachelor’s degrees in Theology and Philosophy from the Franciscan University of Steubenville.

Throughout her time in college, Rhea led Bible studies and Scripture groups and spent three formative summers serving in ministry at Camp Gray. These experiences deepened her love for walking alongside others in faith and helped shape her desire to create spaces where young people can grow in relationship with Jesus Christ.

Growing up in small-town Wisconsin, Rhea developed “a deep love for the simple gifts of life” – quiet mornings, family hikes along the Ice Age Trail, and working at a local diner. It was during high school that her eyes were opened to the deep joy of life in Christ. As she grew in faith, she saw these simple joys as “blessings of an infinitely gracious and loving Father who loves me personally.” Now, she is eager to share that joy and help students recognize the bold, personal love of God in their own lives.

Rhea brings a spirit of fun and adventure to the St. Ambrose community – she enjoys anything outdoors (especially camping and pickup sports), crafting, cooking, and attending concerts.

She was first drawn to St. Ambrose through her work at Camp Gray, where she encountered impressive, well-rounded alumni. “As I looked into the school,” she said, “I was impressed by the Christ-centered mission that seeks to form the whole person into the joyful, magnanimous saints that God created each one to be! I love the focus on virtue, liberal arts, and the competitiveness of the House system.”

At St. Ambrose, Rhea is dedicated to walking with students: “My purpose at this school is fully for their flourishing, to have authentic and real relationships of trust and goodwill and watch them come alive with the greatness that God intends for each one.”

Welcome, Rhea!
