In his sixteen years as principal, Scott has blessed the school with his ability to listen carefully to the concerns of the faculty and families and do his best each day to meet those needs. Scott truly enjoys his colleagues, the families, and getting to be around the students during the day.
Though initially drawn to the school as a place to send his children for junior and senior high, he ended up becoming principal! Before joining St. Ambrose Academy, Scott was the principal at St. Francis Xavier School in Cross Plains. Prior to that, he spent six years at the Parkview School District as an assistant principal, athletic director, and teacher. He also taught business, coached basketball and volleyball, and served as the athletic director at Juda High School for eleven years. He has a B.S. in business education from St. Cloud State University and a M.S. in education administration from Edgewood College. When not at school, Scott’s probably playing fast-pitch softball with his sons, coaching his kids and their teammates, or playing bags with his extended family. Married to his forever teammate Barb, they’re proud parents of four graduates of St. Ambrose, three current students, and one future Guardian.
