Join St. Ambrose Academy for a faculty speaker event featuring Ms. Theresa Klinkhammer, SAA religion teacher and Director of Student Ministries. Ms. Klinkhammer will share a talk based on a text that is a part of our senior high religion curriculum and is especially timely for Catholics who want to incorporate their faith more into their daily lives.

Blessed Columba Marmion was a leader of the liturgical renewal in the early 20th century. His book, Christ in His Mysteries, shows how we enter into the mysteries of Christ’s life by living liturgically.

This talk will first delve into Marmion’s thought concerning participation in Christ’s mysteries and then explore this idea through looking at the power of the propers of the Mass, especially those of the Easter season.

Pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help
for the Success of the New Building Campaign

On Monday, February 14, there will be an all-school pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help in Champion, Wisconsin – the only approved apparition site in the United States! – to beg Our Lady’s intercession for the success of our building campaign.

We would like to issue a warm invitation to families and those who care about our mission to join us, whether in person or in spirit!

If you are interested in coming to the Shrine on Monday, February 14, you will find the St. Ambrose group at the 11:00am Mass at the Shrine. The group will pray afterwards (some kind of novena/prayer and personal prayer) while smaller groups of ~20 take turns visiting the apparition site.

If you are unable to meet us at the Shrine in person, we encourage you to pray in a particular way for the students and the success of our building campaign this coming Monday.

With the Lord’s blessing and the collaboration of many, we will continue to see a flourishing of the faith among young people and families in south-central Wisconsin!

St. Ambrose Academy is honored to host an event in thanksgiving for Fr. Michael Wanta (SAA ’13) on the occasion of his ordination to the priesthood! We warmly invite alumni, families, and benefactors of St. Ambrose Academy to join in this joyous day.

A Mass of Thanksgiving will be celebrated by Fr. Michael on Sunday, September 19 at 2pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Monona.

An outdoor reception will follow in the parking lot behind IHM School near the playground. Guests can enjoy each others’ company, greet Fr. Michael and receive a blessing, and children can enjoy the playground and outdoor games. Beverages and snacks will be served, including the Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream truck.

RSVP by September 15 here. Spiritual bouquet prayers can also be shared at the same link.
