SAA Dads (and More!) Sporting Clays Outing — Saturday, March 22, 2025
This invite goes to St. Ambrose dads, staff, board members, and friends from John Gillett (dad to many Gillett students): You are invited to head into the woods at 9:45 on Saturday, March 22, at the Deer Creek Sports and Conservation Club (8475 Miller Rd, Verona, WI 53593) to shoot a 25-bird round of sporting clays. No gun or shooting skills are required, as dads with them can share with dads without. The cost is $20 ($10 to the club and $10 for a box of shells).
When we finish shooting around 11:00, we will go to the Gillett back yard (8512 Miller Rd) to cook brats over a fire for lunch, 11:00-12:30. (If it’s too cold, we’ll go inside.) John will provide brats, beer, salad, and dessert, so you don’t need to bring anything.
