This week only – SAA is hosting a Hygiene Drive! On behalf of St. Vincent de Paul, we’re collecting the following items: Deodorant, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Mouthwash, Shampoo, Conditioner, Bodywash, Bar soap, and Liquid hand soap. Students should drop off items in their House bins at the front of the school. We are also collecting feminine products, which can be dropped off with Ms. Myers or Ms. Behrens.

On Service Day this Friday, all collected items will be donated to St. Vincent de Paul for those in need in our area. Hygiene products aren’t often donated to pantries, but they are equally important to providing a sense of security to low-income individuals and families. All products must be new and sealed, but both individual and bulk items (as well as various sizes) will be accepted.

The All Saints’ Party is BACK!
Since 2004, the All Saints Party has been hosted to fundraise for the March for Life Trip that St. Ambrose students take on a bi-annual basis. It is also a lot of FUN as individuals, couples, and families come together to celebrate our community, friendships, and wonderful autumn weather.
Join us for:
☑️ 3:00 – 5:00 PM | Corn Maze
☑️ 3:00 – 5:00 PM | Apple Picking (at your own expense)
☑️ 3:00 – 6:00 PM | Carnival Games
☑️ 4:30 – 6:00 PM | Dinner & Social Time
☑️ 6:00 PM | Trick or Treat Saints Trail
☑️ 6:45 PM | Litany of Saints & Bonfire
Suggested donation: $25/family or $10/individual
All donations are tax-deductible and will go to offset the cost for students to attend the 2023 March for Life in Washington, D.C.

At the close of the 3rd quarter, the students at St. Ambrose Academy will have an opportunity to participate in a service day in order to take our Gospel call to service and our love of Christ out into the community. On Friday, March 3rd, 2023, groups of students will be out in the Madison area working at crisis pregnancy centers, stocking food pantries, or just raking the lawn for retired religious. This is a required school-day activity for all of the students – please do not opt out unless it is a previously planned absence. Please complete the permission slip to give your student permission to be taken off campus in the vehicle of a SAA staff member or parent.

Students will meet at the St. Thomas Aquinas Parish at 8:00am and will attend 8:30am Mass.

Please consider chaperoning, we need a lot of volunteer parents. Please indicate on the bottom of the permission slip or go to the SAA sign-up genius. Thank you!

Students can wear their work day clothes for Mass, but should comply with SAA dress code policy. They should bring a bag lunch unless directed otherwise. Also bring a water bottle, work gloves, clothing/shoes that can get dirty. Please dress for the weather.

As a parent or legal guardian, you remain fully responsible for any legal responsibility that may result from any personal actions taken by your child.

There will be a winter gear drive this week lead by the St. Vincent de Paul Youth Service Council. Please consider donating hats, warm gloves or mittens, scarves, hand warmers, or warm socks.

The deadline for items is Friday, November 19.

A donation box will be in the workroom of the school.

The plan is for each student join the region group closest to where they live or where families are already transporting other children for school. Assignments will be emailed as soon as possible. Please email or call Michelle LeVeque with any questions, requests, comments, or concerns.
