Julie Draves

Bookkeeper and WPCP Administrator

“The teachers and staff genuinely care about each student as an individual and want the best for them. The teachers go far beyond providing excellent intellectual formation. They serve as mentors and role models of Christian life. That is priceless!”

St. Ambrose Academy welcomes Julie Draves to our team as Bookkeeper and Wisconsin Parental Choice Program Administrator!

A native of Neenah, WI, Julie first came to Madison where she earned a B.S. in horticulture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has held positions in landscape design and consultation and as an administrative assistant for the Kimberly-Clark Corp. She is married to Joe and together they have eight children including one St. Ambrose grad, three current students, and four future Guardians.

An ideal day for Julie would be spent at the UW Arboretum in the spring when the trees are in full bloom – preferably with some ice cream to enjoy as well! When she’s not chasing toddlers, driving kids to lots of practices and sporting events, cooking meals, and doing laundry or dishes, she enjoys reading, gardening, hiking, and generally exploring and appreciating God’s marvelous creation.

Julie is deeply appreciative of the model of Catholic classical education found at St. Ambrose Academy and especially the whole person at St. Ambrose. The school has been a blessing to Julie and her family and she is excited about the opportunity to help the school grow and thrive for future families.

Thank you Julie for taking on this new means of serving the St. Ambrose community!
