Coffee Break @ Cafe Ambrosia on Thursdays

We are pleased to announce that our Coffee Breaks — that weekly time to caffeinate and, er, conversate with other St. Ambrose parents before your day officially begins — will be on Thursdays this year, beginning THIS Thu., Sept. 14, from 7:45 – 8:40 a.m.

We have moved from the lunchroom in the original space (which sounds better than the “old” space) to Suite 105 in the expanded space, a.k.a. Cafe Ambrosia.

You’re Invited: SAA Moms for August 30:
It is a tradition that Barb Schmiesing (lovely wife of Principal Schmiesing) hosts a kick-off to our SAA moms’ events for the year. This year’s kick-off will be Wednesday, August 30. Come any time after 7:30 p.m.

Parents are called and graced to do more than raise their kids in faith. They are called to the Great Commission, to make their kids into disciples for the rest of their lives. We do our best. We love them, we pray for them, we set healthy boundaries, and actively form their character. What else can we do to make them into disciples of Jesus?

These workshops will equip parents with practical strategies to strengthen the discipleship environment of their home, lead their kids deeper in personal faith, and be even more intentional in apprenticing them as disciples.
