Help on Thursday – we need all hands on deck at 6 pm at St. Mary Pine Bluff to load everything into the semi! Please plan on coming a bit early for pick up and we particularly need some strong dads!

First Friday All-Day Eucharistic Adoration | March 1

We will have the opportunity to adore Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist in our oratory for the full school day next Fri., Mar. 1.

If you and/or your student(s) would like to join us for the Rosary, please arrive in the St. Joseph Oratory at 7:40 a.m. Fri., Mar. 1. Rosaries conclude by the first bell, so any students who wish to join us for prayer will not be late for homeroom. The Rosary will be followed by Mass, after which Our Eucharistic Lord will be exposed on the altar.

Adorers are needed throughout that day. If you are available to stay with Our Lord for an hour, please contact Dr. Geoffrey Ludvik, Director of Student Ministries.

Update per the SAA e-Newsletter on 1/9/2024: “The SAA Parent Disciple-Makers Workshop scheduled for Wednesday evening, January 10, is cancelled given that we will be between two major storm systems.”

Parents are called and graced to do more than raise their kids in faith. They are called to the Great Commission, to make their kids into disciples for the rest of their lives. We do our best. We love them, we pray for them, we set healthy boundaries, and actively form their character. What else can we do to make them into disciples of Jesus?

These workshops will equip parents with practical strategies to strengthen the discipleship environment of their home, lead their kids deeper in personal faith, and be even more intentional in apprenticing them as disciples.

Coffee Break @ Cafe Ambrosia on Thursdays

We are pleased to announce that our Coffee Breaks — that weekly time to caffeinate and, er, conversate with other St. Ambrose parents before your day officially begins — will be on Thursdays this year, beginning THIS Thu., Sept. 14, from 7:45 – 8:40 a.m.

We have moved from the lunchroom in the original space (which sounds better than the “old” space) to Suite 105 in the expanded space, a.k.a. Cafe Ambrosia.

RSVP to the Benefit Dinner by November 24!

We’ve got a lot of fun planned for this year’s Benefit Dinner. You’ll enjoy catching up with others during the cocktail hour and meal and being entertained and inspired during the program.

RSVPs are due by Fri., Nov. 24 so invite some friends to join you! Visit our website for more details.

50/50 Raffle Tickets are available. The winner will be chosen at the Benefit Dinner (does not need to be present to win) – so get yours or encourage others to buy today!

Per the email on 11/1/2023 from Home and School Connections: We will not have a Coffee Break tomorrow (11/2/2023) so that you can consider attending Mass for All Soul’s Day. This is a powerful day to pray for the dead. If you visit a cemetery and pray for the souls in Purgatory anytime between Nov 1 – 8, you can complete a plenary indulgence for a soul.

All are welcome, so please invite other families and friends to join in this community-wide event!
