Because of Catholic Schools Week, the day-long Eucharistic Adoration for the month of February will be moved to Friday, February 11. We will need parent-adorers from 8:00am-3:00pm.

Pro-Life Conference and March for LIfe – Madison, WI

 

Friday, January 21 – March for Life at the Capitol

  • 8 am – meet at St. Ambrose
  • 8:10 – drive to downtown Madison – parking at Lake Street Parking Garage or University Square Parking Garage for big vans – 324 N. Lake St, Madison, WI 53715
  • 8:30 – walk to St. Paul’s and eat some breakfast
  • 9-9:30 – inspirational talk
  • 9:30-11:30 – March for Life
    1. Route – Starting at St. Paul’s University Center, walk down State Street to the Capitol and then around the Capitol building several times
    2. at 11:30, walk to St. Patrick’s Church (404 E. Main Street) and join in for Mass at 12:10 pm
  • 12:10 – Mass at St. Patrick’s
    1. after Mass, walk back to St. Paul’s
  • 1:15 Lunch at St. Paul’s
  • 2 pm – rosary for life in St. Paul’s Oratory
  • 2:30 pm – head back to SAA

* This is only applicable to those junior and senior students who are not going on the March for Life in Washington, D.C.

All school audition day. Be prepared for choreography and vocal audition. Important information is below:

Please note that auditions will be a bit different this year. There will be 3 distinct groups with different audition times as follows. Students should oly be at auditions during their audition times listed below.

6th & 7th Graders – 3:45pm-4:40pm. Parents should pick up these students promptly at 4:40pm. They will not need to come back to callbacks on Friday.

8th Grade & Up Boys – 4:30pm-5:30pm. Students should gather in classroom 1 when they arrive and can review the choreography together until called to the gym. Parents should pick up these students promptly at 5:30pm.

8th Grade & Up Girls – 5:20pm-6:30pm. Students should gather in classroom 1 when they arrive and can review the choreography together until called to the gym.

Boys should wear dress pants and button up shirt with either jazz shoes or dress shoes that they can dance in.

Girls should wear either nice dress pants and blouse, or a skirt/dress (not too short) with either leggings or shorts underneath since they will be kicking. They should wear either jazz or character dance shoes, or flat dress shoes they can dance in.

Performance dates are March 25, 26, and 27, 2022.

The plan is for each student join the region group closest to where they live or where families are already transporting other children for school. Assignments will be emailed as soon as possible. Please email or call Michelle LeVeque with any questions, requests, comments, or concerns.

Middleton Region: Drop off and pick up location is St. Peter Catholic Church. Arrive in time for Mass at 8:15am. Pickup at 3:00pm.

Mount Horeb Region: Drop off and pickup location is St. Mary of Pine Bluff. Arrive in time for Mass at 7:00am. Pickup at 3:00pm.

Madison Region: Drop off and pickup location is at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. Arrive in time for Mass at 8:30am. Pickup at 3:00pm.

Verona Region: Drop off and pickup location is St. Christopher Parish. Arrive in time for Mass at 8:30am. Pickup at 3:00pm.

Students should bring a sack lunch, snack, water bottle, work gloves, dress for the weather with school spirit wear, and a positive attitude.

The St. Ambrose School building will also be a location option in case transportation or another factor is an issue for families.

Parents can still sign up to chaperone and will earn 8 service hours for their involvement.

Pictures of the team will be taken before the games. Players, please be dressed and ready at 4:30pm!

Parents Night! JV and JV2 parents should arrive by 5:15pm and take a seat in the big gym. Parents will be announced around 5:25pm and then warmups will begin around 5:40pm. At the time of recognition, parents should stay in the stands, but stand up, and as their name is called their player will come find them and give them something. We also ask that applause is held until the end.

Varisty parents will be announced between the JV and Varsity games, approximately 7:00pm, before warmups.

Stick around after the game to celebrate the three seniors!
