Life Skills Day

Do you have a neat skill you’d be able to share with the St. Ambrose Junior High students?

On Fri., Jan. 19, the Junior High will have a Life Skills day. We began this tradition last year when the Seniors were on their March for Life field trip to Washington D.C. and the 9th -11th graders went on retreat, and it is a wonderful way for our younger students to learn new skills and hobbies!

We’d like to offer the students an opportunity to learn some wood carving, carpentry, sewing, knitting, decorating cookies, weight training, calligraphy, cord rosary making, etc. but we need your help! Do you have any practical skill that you would be willing to teach students? Students will be in groups of 10, though you can specify if you are able to take 20 at a time.

Please contact Ms. Behrens if you are interested and available! Thank you!
